Biography
Melika Dastyab was a 21-year-old economics student and tanbur player from the Yarsan community in Kerend-e Gharb. She was killed by direct gunfire from Islamic Republic security forces in Kermanshah on January 8, 2026. Having lost her mother less than two years prior, Melika was the primary caregiver for her younger sister at the time of her death.
ملیکا دستیاب، دانشجوی ۲۱ ساله اقتصاد و نوازنده تنبور از پیروان آیین یارسان و اهالی کرند غرب بود. او در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در کرمانشاه با شلیک مستقیم ماموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. ملیکا که کمتر از دو سال پیش مادرش را از دست داده بود، مسئولیت سرپرستی و مراقبت از خواهر کوچکترش را بر عهده داشت.
